RESTful webservice - Bottle framework Python

Hi, I have a RESTful webservice made using Bottle framework in Python which returns a json output. You are to make a simple mash up application using html. The key requirements are:- 1) one textbox that accepts input. (The input entered here is postcode information) 2) A simple submit button. 3) A div element that has Google map element embedded in it. The application should make a GET request to the RESTful webservice hosted locally. (it's a already made python file) The query structure is in this format ('http://localhost:8080/getlocation?postcode=xxxx') where ('xxxx') are the postal codes. Your application should make query to the hosted server and fetch out 'Latitude' and 'Longitude' from the json response And point it out in a marker in the corresponding Google map.
