Minor Fix on Joomla 2.5 Template Modification

We have a modified joomla 2.5 template. modified homepage shows additional article area that is normally not available on the original template.
This needs to be fixed immediately and the reason causing this situation should be explained in order to achieve a deeper understanding of how joomla works...
The appearance of the new article in the middle of the home page with a grey background area started with the addition of new language menus.( starts with incididunt ut labore et dolore )
Payment is only processed upon successful removal of the area mentioned..
