I am migrating my website from Typo3 to Joomla and will need to migrate some frontend plugins. For speeding things up, I could use - a sample front end plugin, as simple as possible, that displays a web form, collects some input data from a website user (1 text field, 1 submit button) and shows output on the website that is influenced by the input (e.g., echo the input back to the user). - support with installing and integrating this plugin in an existing Joomla installation (goal: the plugin can be used from the website; css and beauty are out of scope). I would then migrate the existing plugins myself, based on this example.

Hello, I understand you wanted site totally simple. Using as less as possible scripts or codes. But joomla working little different. The plugin dont provide view so, to show form and its submit data you need component. If you provide me your old site url I'll better assist you. May be you need not any custom extension (component, plugin or module) for your site. Default joomla articles will enough for pages etc. Here is few tips to make your site faster. 1. Use your own custom developed template with only minimum scripts required. 2. Optimize it for page speed and yslow (10-20 options to do in this) 3. If site is static or even few forms use cache. I am running my personal website and I dedicatedly work in joomla and optimization. Thanks Raj
