We are looking for someone to compile FreeRDP for our Linux OS. We require a custom piece for this application that will use an API to fill in the server, gateway and remote apps. Here is an overview of how we are wanting the FreeRDP application to work.
When opening the FreeRDP application, only prompt for username.
Overview:
I'd like for the user to enter their username and the API will determine the user's server and gateway. Once this is determined, user will enter their password and then have a popup appear that would use the webfeed to show what remote apps are available to the user (if any) and the Remote Desktop option for full desktop. If the user has no remote apps, default to full remote desktop. During the API call to gather the user server and gateway, we would need to determine the {remote app endpoint} and the {client code} with the API.
• API: Will provide the API to the awarded freelancer. It's only 1 API call.
o API will pass the username and determine the user’s server and gateway and prompt for password.
If configured for remote apps (determined by the API call), determine remote app endpoint and client code and use webfeed to pull back the apps available with icons.
• https://{remote app endpoint}/{client code}/RDWeb/Feed/[login to view URL]
If no remote apps are configured for the user, launch full Remote Desktop connection.
• RemoteAPP FreeRDP:
o If the API does in fact have remote apps configured for the user, when the icons pull back with the options to select the app, the /app should be used to launch each one when clicked. For example, if one of the remote apps is calc, then when clicked, launch with /app:"||calc"
If you know FreeRDP and know how to make a single SOAP API call, this should be easy and a quick task. We are looking to have this completed ASAP, so please only bid if you know FreeRDP and know how to make a SOAP API call.
