Content lockers are an intermediary page blocking a user from a particular piece of content. When the user performs a predefined set of actions, it will unlock and give the user access to the desired content. Please fully read [login to view URL] How it Works in the back-end: 1) The user inputs their email address in an input field and hits submit (this data can be stored in a cookie or database) 2) The user is taken to Step #2 where 3 app icons are displayed instructing the user that they must download all 3 apps before they can access the desired content 3) The user taps on "download" .. the download link fires a URL to a 3rd-party tracking link that looks something like [login to view URL] The "uid" parameter is a unique identifier to the current user. 4) The user is then taken to the App Store to download that particular piece of content 5) When the user successfully installs the app, the 3rd party site ([login to view URL]) will fire an HTTP POST request (we call this a postback) to a predefined URL. This URL will be part of the page you build. The 3rd party will post "uid" and the ID of the app name (appid=5678) to the app you build. 6) When the 3rd party posts the variables, you must keep track of which app the user downloads. The front end must check and poll the server to see if the postback was successfully sent. If so, it must mark the app in question as "complete" 7) When all 3 apps have been installed the content is considered unlocked. A destination URL will be presented to the user to download the desired URL (predefined). 8) If a user's session ends or they return to the page, they may provide their email address again to check the status of their content unlock Details: • The list of apps must be flexible to allow 1 or more app • The user's progress and state must be able to be restored by providing email OR via cookie • The javascript code must be able to poll the server in intervals to see if has received postbacks for a particular app from the 3rd party server • This will absolutely require storage of data Expected technologies: HTML5, CSS, Javascript (Jquery), AJAX, PHP, MySQL or any NoSQL database of your choosing IMPORTANT: Only bid on this job if you understand how server to server postback works.
