Hi there, I'm Alex, PrestaShop developer. I wrote many different plugins for my clients and I actually did the same thing as you require - write PrestaShop modules found on WordPress as I got one client for Italy who had 20 WooCommerce sites and wanted to switch them all to PrestaShop so I had to write at least 5 custom modules for PrestaShop so it took my some time to deliver but it works fine.
