Hello, I am looking for someone who has knowledge of Amazon Api's, I am a novice so do not have a lot of knowledge yet.
Please take a look at the following websites [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] these websites work where a customer enters a barcode/isbn number of books and the backend software analyses the book price/ranking through [url removed, login to view] (used book prices) with the api. if the book has a good price/ranking (something that is preset in the software) then the customer would be offered a price for the book (this price will be decided on later but it is based on percentage). If it doesn't meet the requirements the book is rejected ie 'sorry we are not accepting this title right now'.
Also, the customer would be able to create an account, log in, with an option for facebook log in too. The only data I would require on my side are the customers address, telephone, email address and bank account number/sort code so I could send them money. They would upload their isbn numbers and if they're happy with the price I can offer them for their books (provided it meets the criteria) then they can add it to the basket and checkout. On checking out I would retreive their data and send them a free postage label and instructions on how to post their books to me. On receipt of the books I would bank transfer them their money or send them a cheque (they should have an option on what method they prefer to receive their payment). I hope to speak with you to find out what you can do, your potential timeframe and price for this. The software can apparently be built on free opensource applications (I think they're on github, apis) however I really have no knowledge beyond this. So ideally i'm looking for someone who really knows what this would require.
Here are some examples of barcodes you can test on those above sites so you can understand how it works
please let me know, the amount I have put in the budget is just a random amount. I'd be happy to discuss the project with you later. Thank you.
