Create responsive image map

I have five images, each with five buttons. The images and the buttons are exactly the same, but each image highlights a different button. I need a simple web page that displays one of the images. When a user clicks on the button area, the page or image corresponding to that button must be loaded. Basically, this is what is usually done with the HTML <area> tag. The twist is that it needs to be responsive, that is, the whole page (and of course the image) must be able to scale to different mobile devices, while still retaining the functionality of changing the page/image when clicking in the area of the buttons. I do not care whether this is achieved with html or javascript - what I need is a fully functional web page that is capable of doing this, even if viewed in a mobile device. It is acceptable both to load a different page or a different image into the same page. I attach the image with the buttons that has to scale as described above.
