Convert elements of a PHP Library to a Javascript Library

GEDCOM is a file format used by genealogy programs. I need elements of that library converted to a Javascript library. Knowledge of the GEDCOM format is NOT required. The work involves functions that work on an array of arrays. The conversion of these functions is relatively simple if you have knowledge of PHP and Javascript. I have attached an example file to be converted, as well as a sample test suite. There are ~25 classes to be converted with 1 method converted per class. * The PHP class defines class variable used to store the parsed data. The expectation is that all the parsed data will be stored in a JSON object * Each PHP class has 3 methods - parse_tree, to_gedcom, and to_string. Only parse_tree needs to be converted for this effort. Successful completion may lead to the conversion of to_gedcom * Assume jquery is available to an application using this library Deliverables include converted Javascript code and a test suite showing they can parse the input data (array of arrays) correctly. The test cases can be derived from the PHP test cases.
