I would need to know the scope of this app in order to give an accurate quote. 1. What are the range of objects that you wish to identify? Is it a finite list of sat 100 objects that you would only consider? 2. The larger the number of objects that you wish to include will take a longer time to build an object "learning" sample image database. 3. What are your accuracy expectations. Is 80% accuracy acceptable? This is important because no imaging library can give you 100% accuracy. I have done a number of imaging app where I have to identify distinct objects via algorithms (by shapes or size), or by variations of an object (wheel rim models).
