Looking to develop an online store with shopping cart to add to our website. Will need the ability for users to set up an account and follow through normal purchases. Also will require a "back end" for adding/editing/etc of the various items being sold. Some items will be priced and others will need a contact or call button instead of a price. Products should be organized by category and have at least three places for part numbers. Specifications should also be added to each product. Social media integration not needed or required. I've seen OsCommerce sites and that approach would work for us. If OsCommerce is used, design will have to match our current site. Pictures, searching, categorizing of products, etc will be required. Several example categories can be supplied. The site is hosted on our in-house server running SME Server 8.1 OS. LAMP applications available. PHP v5.3.3. MYSQL 5.0.95. Apache 2.2.3 Must have references that I can check and some completed work examples. I'm looking for someone with the skills, not someone looking to develop them. If a package is required that I don't have installed on my server, I will require assistance in setting it up. A complete redesign of the site is fine as long as the store and the rest of the site flow together well. I don't have a preferred payment processor at this point and I'm open to anything. We currently use a backend that provides information that is not available to the customer. If this project goes well, I would like an update to the backend site as well. There are tables in existence that are accessed to provide searching currently on the live site.
