The requirement is to create an automated process of taking football betting tips given in a private Facebook group, and actioning the bet on Asianodds88.com. Each step is listed below for clarity: - Wait for a new Facebook post - When there is a new post, determine if it is a betting tip (90% of posts are, but not all) - If the post is a betting tip, extract the relevant data (tips are supplied in a consistent format - please see attached screenshot for reference) - Use this data to locate and bet on the correct match and market on the [login to view URL] website - *Additional Extra* Send notification via email/IM/other to indicate that a bet has been placed Notes: Team names given in the Facebook post may not always 100% match those on the [login to view URL] website, so some logic may need to be applied here (e.g. the post may give the teams 'Virginia Women v Louisville Women', but the website may display them as 'Virginia (w) v Louisville (w)'. Hello, this looks like an interesting project. I would need to do a little research regarding the means of accessing each site; I believe I can get the posts from Facebook using their API but I don't know about Asianodds. Either way, I specialize in web scraping, so it wouldn't be a problem if it doesn't provide an API. I don't work with PHP, I would do all this in Python (or Java if you prefer). I hope that's okay.
