I'm using Web Builder 7.5, I'm setting up a form page were people can send files to be burned to cd or dvd. I would prefer it so I can continue to use web builder and have the FTP client added to work with the form setups created by the builder.
Some of the files and video files that are to be uploaded can be very large
and multiple. With the limitations of PHP for file size and problems with large files I'm needing to use FTP to handle this.
I'm told I should consider AJAX with FTP but I'm open for all options. Since WB doesn't have FTP processing in their forms I need help creating one for it.
Single file upload per selection is preferred, but if multi is easier, I can set it so person has to tell me the name of the file. Would prefer not to do this. I attached a basic copy of the form as I have it now. This can be changed if needed.
This is being run on a Linux Slackware server 13.1 kernel 2.6.37 with PHP
version 5.3.8 Apache 2.2.21
When the PHP form processor sends me the email of the form information I
need to know what file goes to what ID in the form.
For the FTP processing there are a few things I would like to happen.
Create a sub-directory based on their name or email address and have the files uploaded to that sub-directory
I would like the password for the ftp client to be read from a separate file so I can change the password as needed and not have to rebuild the web page every time I do.
I will have separate home user directory created on the server only for these uploads so any uploads will only remain in that directory or sub-directories that way I can access the directory with a browser and click to download them to the CD or DVD burner. I can already do this now. No need to work it in.
Please ask any other questions if you think I might have missed something or have other questions.
