a motorised treasure hunt consists of a car (carrying contestant)that follows a set of tulips (directions) within a city area as well answering questions ( generally cryptic)based on the signage found on the streets. the player should be able to sign in and get a set of questions and tulips randomly generated from a master database ( which contains complete set of questions based on 4 levels of difficulty).example: if there is a street with 20 signboards and ads , then maybe 2 or 3 questions are chosen in a particular [url removed, login to view] level of difficulty was chosen as "beginner" then the related questions are [url removed, login to view] the player winds his way into that street ,he can choose the answer by clicking on the signage that he thinks is [url removed, login to view] then proceeds along until the tulip tells him to turn left or [url removed, login to view] this is against the clock ( pausable, of course).if he thinks he has overshot and wants to reverse,he must be able to do [url removed, login to view] he does so, the sign which he has passed ,should come into view. main part of the screen should show what the driver sees on a street ( signs on both sides) as well as left and right turns and traffic lights up ahead. top part of the screen should show the related tulip and question (pls see attachment). bottom part should show time ,odometer distances ( accumulated and internal). the result should show which questions were answered correctly and which were [url removed, login to view],the option of saving the game with the particular tulips and questions should be possible so that it can replayed if needed. the actual questions and the name of the signs should be left to me to fill up ( the database). an actual sample of tulips and distances is shown in the attached zip file. i expect a database of about 1000 signs and since there are 4 levels (4000 questions).each game will have 30 - 40 questions pop up. it should be possible that a player "tell" the random generator to disregard previously succesfully answered questions. the random generator should be able to choose the correct tulips once a game is [url removed, login to view] means that when the 30 or 40 questions are chosen randomly ,the path of the hunt is decided and so the tulips must be generated (see attachment) with corresponding distances so that the player is directed on to the streets where the correct answers are. all normal features of PC based games like high score and saves,etc should be present.
