Software Architect and Specifications Writer (Java, XML, Web Services, PKI)

The person will write a detailed project specification that describe our product in its entirety including the content, navigation and roadmap. We have very little documentation and extensive conversations (phone, email, IM) will be required. The person **must**: * have worked on a web based application previously. * have skills with UI. * have outstanding attention to detail. * understand and be able to write OO specs/use cases. We will consider **distinct advantages** any of the following: * Strong background in PKI, xKiss, OCSP, digital certificates. * Experience with Web Services & APIs. * Understanding of AJAX possibilities. * Ability to communicate in spanish. **Topics** would include: * Identify all actors that will use the system. * Identify system use-case packages. * Identify system use-cases. * Develop class diagrams for key business classes. * Develop Activity Diagrams. * Identify new classes for expanded functionality. * Break down tasks into modules. Document **Uses cases** in our wiki: * Describe state behaviors (state machine diagram). * Identify states of critical objects (ie PO. Receiving doc). * Identify state transitions, state activities, super states, concurrent states, entity classes. * Class and Object Diagrams. * Model generalizations, transient roles and whole/part relationships. * Analyze associates and multiplicity. * Link System uses cases to diagram. * Add attributes and look up tables. * Develop Data flow diagram and Business rule catalog. * Revise class structure as needed.
