basic info: - my server is linux, with mysql database - please develop on your server, and when complete we transfer to my server - please use latest programming scripts...ajax,javascript,css,ruby,jquery etc.. - website must be compatible with internet explorer, firefox, chrome. Website features:----------------------------------- - [login to view URL] is a website designed for renting out sound systems to customers, the customer creates a shopping cart of items such as speakers, mics, disco lights etc.. that they want to rent for a party. The items are added to a cart and the cart can be saved for future access. The customer must create a login account inorder to save or submit the cart. - the cart will have certain items that need special programming to calculate various scenerios. - when the cart is complete the customer will hit submit and an email will be sent to the admin informing of a new order along with the ordered items. Please create an auto responder so that the customer gets an email saying that the request was received and someone will respond to them within 48 hours. - The order will be saved under the customers profile and the admin can also view/access the order in The admin control panel. - The admin will reply email or call the customer to confirm the order. The admin will then go into the control panel to book the requested day. No money transaction will occur on the website. Customer will pay cash or check upon delivery of the sound system to their party. - Each rental "package" system (the items located on the homepage/ see "[login to view URL]") will have its own calendar associated with it. This is important because each system has its own availability dates. currently there are three different packages -1. one speaker rental -2. two speaker rental -3. two speaker and one subwoofer rental in the future I may add a couple more packages so please make it possible for me to add new packages into the website. Playlist:----------------------------------- - there is an item called "ipod and playlist" in the add-on section (see "[login to view URL]"), when a customer adds this to their cart they now have the ability to create a playlist of music. - the idea behind this item is because not all people have access to music, so they can pick what songs they want to play at their party and I will download the songs on to an ipod and deliver it with their order on the day of the event. - the playlist is an application that pulls music from an external source or public database, I do not know where this public database is but two websites that currently act this way is [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] maybe you can figure out how to create the playlist by looking at those websites. - within the playlist where the customer can search for songs, there is a tab for "DJ music". This is where I create custom playlists in admin panel and the customer can pick a custom playlist to see what songs are in it, if they like a song then they can add it to their own playlist (see "[login to view URL]"). -The idea of the custom playlists under the "dj music" tab is to help customers choose songs for their event. for example at a wedding maybe the bride will not know what songs are good to play for their 1st dance, so I will have a custom playlist labeled "wedding 1st dance" and she can see popular songs to choose from. Blog:------------------------------------ - see screenshot on how blog should look like, it can be wordpress blog, but i need to be able to access it from admin cpanel Overview:------------------------------------ - I had created most of the screen shots on how I want the website to function and to look on the front end. based on these screenshots the programmer has the freedom to design their own admin control panel to control the front end, i believe that a good programmer will be able to create the back end admin cpanel based on the front end design pictures that i provided. please understand that the total bid for this project includes the backend admin cpanel also so if programmer is having hard time to make the admin panel then i will create screen shots and - the FAQS and footer pages are all text based so please provide an edit feature in admin panel so I can add content to it. - SEO, I need ability to have url rewriting so I can have custom seo page titles and links for each page. please add a way to do seo meta data on all pages.\ - must be able to print the shopping cart and playlist information on the same page (please see "[login to view URL]"). - Email the shopping cart: also have the same information that is printed (please see "[login to view URL]") to be emailed to multiple emaill address as desired by customer. - have a simple mailing list feature so i can send out updates and specials to registered users. make sure there is an unsubscribed link at bottom of all emails. - I got some of the design and functionality of my playlist application from this website....[login to view URL] - I think there is a public database where mp3 songs can be streamed from and this is where I want to connect to. look at this website as it seems to be using a public database for search songs...[login to view URL]
