The project is for Phase I customisation. If you successfully complete the project as per expectation, a major piece of work will be assigned in Phase II.
Below are the tasks to be completed
1. Add extra fields to the event page. Types - rich text fields, drop downs, check boxes, single line of text, Radio button, Multi line text. The should be taken care in add/edit/delete/import. And also these need to be added in the required places on the website display page and results views where needed.
2. Convert “Description“ field in an event to a HTML rich text editor (Tiny MCE). The event add/edit/import/display/search pages need to be taken care that they work without any issues for any text entered in the text area.
3. Rename “Events” to the text provided in all parts of the website - Navigation bar, footer, add/edit/display page labels, any search results/labels
4. Rename “Listings” to the text provided in all parts of the website - Navigation bar, footer, add/edit/display page labels, any search results/labels
5. Make a change to give ability to create event without a start date. Logic : User ticks a check box “Event do not have a start date” which makes a text field mandatory. If start date is present, this text box will be non mandatory
6. Update the logic to set expiry date of an event during event creation
- Expiry date to event end date where event has start and end dates
- Events with no start and end dates does not expire
