I have a rate quoting spreadsheet that I want to distrubute. I would like to create a program based upon this spreadsheet that will interface with an Access Database that will hold the data. I will require a serial number built to have the frontend disable itself after a specified time to prevent people from using it past a date to prevent old rates being quoted. I will require a serial generator to produce the new serial numbers. It would be very helpful if the serial generator was written using Excel or a program that can be run from my Pocket PC. If the generator is made with Excel, it must be able to be used with Pocket versions of Excel. There are several reports, and options that will be required for input and export, as well as a method of adding, changing, or editing; rates, benefits and companies that will be used in the program. I would like to see the ability to create new companies, plans and benefits pages by allowing the user to add them and have the new information be added to the reports. Also, exported for distrobution. The reports are static, but would like to be able to add new one's that I see fit. An options page will be needed to set the data up (i.e. ages, kids, plans, additions. etc...) This information will be used to create the reports numbers and default sorting of the premiums or companies. Currently there are five reports that will need to be created, but more might follow (additional reports should be charged hourly?). Should you need more information please contact me. Bidding will be short, due to time contraints. Once a bid is accepted, time will be second to accuracy (unlike my spelling).
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Windows 95, 98, 98SE, 2000, ME, XP. A torn down version for Pocket PC 2002 that would only show the rates would be a great factor in the winning bid, but not completely required.
