Need sr. c# developer with winforms experience and OO experience to work on an exiting product. If this assignmetn goes well, you will be asked to stay on full time after that (you can say now if you want :) )
How these assignments work for us is this:
1. I provide a list of a weeks worth of tasks (you get to agree as to this list).
2. when these tasks are done, 1/8th of the money for contract is released (say the contract is for $800, $100 will be released upon completion of list).
3. a new list will be presented and agreed upon
Ability to work with other peoples code a must. Unit testing skills are a plus.
Example of first weeks assignment:
day 1:
- download/install/play with LogicBase from [url removed, login to view]
- get code from our CVS server
- read developers guide for LogicBase
- write sample components (play)
day 2-3:
- clean up UI's for wizards for dynamic type generation
- validate dynamic type generation code state
- refactor creation code from UI's
day 4-5:
- fix CSV generator and unit tests
- fixed Fixed length generator and unit tests
Note: We try to be reasonable with a weeks assignment. A weeks assignment generally will take 5-6 days. sometimes we think a task is easy and it turns out to be hard, we try to make up for this in hte next segment (if it is our fault)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
