Successful Security Policy
Introduction:** There have been many cases of information technology (IT) exploits in the absence of an effective security policy. In this assignment, you will analyze one such case and frame a comprehensive security policy to avoid such an exploit in the future.
**Tasks:** Search the web to gather details, and present an analysis of a recent or historic IT exploit involving breach of security in an organization. Identify the factors responsible for the failure of security. Identify the factors that can ensure the success of a security policy. Identify some factors of a good security policy such as password, virus prevention, and Internet access.
Research the Internet for sample security policies of some organizations, and select the one that is most comprehensive. State the reasons for your choice.
**Deliverables and Format:** Submit your assignment as a double spaced Word formatted document (not exceeding 300 words) to your instructor for review
