Interactive Educational Web Site Design and Development

We are a start-up focusing in the field of online education. We are seeking one/two free lance web designers/developers on a full/part-time basis for a period of up to 12 months (or longer) who can help us develop an interactive educational website catering to K-12 level students. The ideal candidate should have sufficient experience in interactive website development, database, and back-end programming using ASP .NET. Knowledge and experience with flash or game design is a plus. You will work integrally with educational content developers to integrate the educational material in this interactive website. After completion of the initial website and interface, the expectation is to expand it to different grade levels, maintain the site and update it on a regular basis based on ongoing feedback. The duration of this work is expected to last few months and on an ongoing basis you can help us enhance the site, maintain it and assist with other IT functions. Please provide monthly rate for a full/part-time work schedule and links to websites that you have worked on previously.
