On Tuesday, August 28, at Erie Neighborhood House in Chicago... A charitable collaboration between a non-profit 501C3 called My Story Matters, and Erie Neighborhood House, will take place to tell the personal stories of 115 Erie kids between the ages of 8 and 10 years old. The children will be photographed and interviewed to help them create their own traditional scrapbook that will tell their story about themselves, their family and friends, and their dreams.
Volunteer photographers are needed to make this exceptional project happen. If you think you would like to participate, plan to spend 9:30am to 3:30pm at Erie (1347 W. Erie St. • Chicago, IL 60642). Lunch will be provided and there is street parking. Contact Suzanne Harris Cell: 952-270-2400 to register.
Photographers will have parental permission to use the shots of the children in their portfolios and will be given acknowledgement for their volunteer participation.
