This position reports to the Freight Brokers industry Main challenges : Offer personalized and efficient service Take charge of clients by identifying and anticipating their needs and steering them toward phone communications and text messages. Propose pricing and book shipment across Canada and Usa. Inform carriers about our new loads and negotiate the price. Perform operational activities Answer phone calls and client requests Complete the scheduled training activities in order to acquire the knowledge required for the position Learn and comply with established policies, standards and procédures The candidate needs to be able to identify all risks inherent to the Personal and Commercial shipping sector's activities Sales and customer service experience Knowledge of trucking industry, an asset Flexibility to work schedules, an asset Flexibility to cover several branches, an asset Bilingualism (spoken and written) - English and French, an asset. Hello respected I am Baki, logistics graduate with working experience as a Logistics fleet manager for 3 years. I am operating Europe regions and I don't have experience with Canada or USA but I am fast learner and can adapt easily. My job as a fleet manager was to coordinate the trucks with the shipments that I had from my clients, do a follow up on the actions, loading, unloading, loading and unloading slots, to asses if the price of the shipment is good for my company when we take out the expenses and if the shipment is risk free regarding borders, customs, loading / delivery deadlines and if the cargo type is suitable for the given vehicle.
