I am looking for a professional team to program me an instant messenger application specific to a certain industry. The idea of this application is to eradicate all the additional features of typical instant messaging services like ICQ, and concentrate on the core user functionality. The most important part of this application is the ability for users to easily manage a large contact database. The main difference is that all users of this application will be asked to define their own attributes when signing up. There are numerous open source GPL jabber applications out there which I urge the winning developers to take note from, however this source code will NOT be released under a GPL license, and therefore requires the applications code to be unique. If a company or individual can give me a detailed time line of the application development then partial payment can be discussed and agreed. Otherwise payment will only be given once this application is 100% completed. If you do not agree to these terms then do NOT bid, if you can not complete this project 100% then do NOT bid. This is only a basic outline of what I want this application to do, I will make the complete project brief available only to bidders who can prove that have a sound understanding of this technology. -All basic messaging and status functions that most Jabber GPL programs support -This application will need to track and support a flash banner rotation. -Users can sort contacts simply through predefined and customizable categories and sub categories -Users can create custom notes for their contacts -This app must be multi platform, Mac OS and Windows -A search function which allows users to search notes and contact attributes -SSL connections -Visual sound and sound alerts, auto away, emotictions etc. -Administration area, disable, enable, edit and view accounts. -Right click user functionality -User control panel, edit and update preferences -Tabbed conversation (one window with numerous conversations) -Sort categories must work through drop down and slide menus -Log message history -Easily upgradeable -Add users by user ID, Alias or search via attributes I will show potential developers the skin and specs doc. Lastly DO NOT post me 100 different websites that you have done, this is APPLICATION development.
