hI, this is interesting, there may be different precisions of 'collision' - like is simple bounding box/sphere collision enough, will simple triangle by triangle collision test work well enougth, are helmets convex polygons so some separating plane techique can work.. or maybe as its using opengl it will use the rendered image to detect the collision you may write me telling me more details
