Descripción de empleo<br /><br />Proactively plans and performs advanced technical activities requiring knowledge in multiple areas or on a system level to service the customer. Prioritizes work based on customer impact, and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.<br /><br />Main Responsibility Area<br /><br />Identifies and solves proactively demanding problems and communicates them to key stakeholders. Participates as an expert in own technology area in customer projects. Is active in networking and knowledge sharing. Develops processes, tools and working methods.<br /><br />Position Description<br /><br />• Familiar with GPRS and 2G/3G/4G networks and interfaces<br />• Experience and knowledge of GSM/Packet core network, routing and all type of signaling and GPRS call flow concept with all PS core nodes like Gb, Gr, Gn, Gi, Gx, Gy,Gz interfaces.<br />•Packet Core NPO Experience is a must. IP networks knowledge needed.<br />• KPIs knowledge<br />• Deep knowledge of mobile packet core networks and functionality of GGSN, SGSN, SAE-GW and MME.<br />• Knowledge of DX/ATCA SGSN, FISN/ATCA GGSN and other Packet Core products is a must.<br />• Knowledge in the next third party NEs: Infoblox DNS, Checkpoint FW, Juniper and Cisco Routers/Switches.<br />• Plans and reports assigned projects (Features Trials, New deployments, SW/HW releases upgrades and updates, change deliveries, retrofits, lab testing)<br />• Follow up on highly escalated issues and drive them to resolution<br />• Participation in meetings with customers.<br />• Organize and participate in pilot and trials.<br />• Work closely with customer’s technical management to ensure close relationship and responsiveness to customer needs<br />• New technology support and Service deployment<br />• Provide technical answers and solutions<br />• Share technical information and provide competence transfer<br />• Consult with customers regarding optimization, planning, feature activations and other improvements<br />• Making sure of availability of proper testing environment and report any discrepancies<br /><br />Position Requirements<br />BS Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or equivalent technical competence<br />• Has excellent experience and skills on SGSN (DX and ATCA) and GGSN (FISN and ATCA).<br />• Has advanced skills on telecom switch platform<br />• Has excellent understanding about GPRS/UMTS network and protocols<br />• Has basic IP and Unix/linux knowledge; knows basic IP configuration<br />• Experience on LTE MME and SAE knowledge, (Juniper and Cisco certifications are a valuable plus).<br /><br />Position Requirements<br /><br />Personal Attributes:<br />• Strong knowledge and experience in NPO Services and customer interface preferred. NI/Care Experience is a plus.<br />• Excellent communication, management skills.<br />• Self motivated well-organized individual who can prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.<br />• Ability to interact with a variety of people and work well with others in a fast paced environment.<br />• Strong customer communication skills.<br />• Ability to work and learn independently.<br />• Willing to travel.<br />• Spanish and English languages are a must.
