Description: Bluewebsolutions is seeking a skilled Web server Technical Support Representative with excellent Linux skills. Candidate will primarily be responsible for assisting web development support personnel with problem resolution related the enterprise web hosting environment as well as assist in managing and maintaining the overall health of the environment.
As a Web Hosting Customer Support Technician, you should have the ability to solve issues on Web Server and Mail Servers and may require limited emergency evening, weekend or call-in support.
Demonstrating the ability to diagnose complex customer application issues and provide quick and accurate solutions within a collaborative environment.
Taking ownership of issues from identification through resolution.
Providing technical support for Level 1 issues via Team weaver and the telephone.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as NGINX, Apache, MySQL, and Exim.
Ability to debug and troubleshoot Server issues like clearing cache, email relay issues.
Advanced knowledge of the cPanel/WHM control panel.
Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Knowledge of FTP, DNS and Mail Protocols.
Advanced knowledge of NGINX, Apache, MySQL, and Exim.
