Create a Mysql Ini file

We are looking for an experienced MySQL Engineer to create a [login to view URL] settings file for our new MySQL server. Currently we are working on MySQL 5.1.73 and our database is pretty slow on a small VPS (1GB RAM). We have now bought a new server and installed MySQL 5.7.17 (16GB RAM, but only part of it would be used). We want to migrate the data but first we want to configure the server correctly to handle the load. The database is using InnoDB engine and consists of 1 main table (around 5MB) and 3 lookup tables (<1MB). So a very small database, but constantly increasing. I attached a picture of a MySQL Tuner report on our current database. The database is used for approx 500 concurrent client VMs, each creating 3-5 connections in pooling and using the connections roughly every 10-20 seconds. We expect a [login to view URL] file as outcome of the project to apply it to our server, with comments on important parts that may need to be changed in the future (more clients, higher load, increasing connections and so on).
