Hi, I am more than expert in writing cross platform apps in ionic ... i have worked with google maps as well ... and have developed many cross platform apps that allow users to upload pictures to server...and also communication with APIs is a part of expertise.... "We provide a RESTFul API or a Cordova (7.0+) Plugin to interact with the image processing server." If REST API is simple then i think REST API is a better option as it can be tested in multiple clients instead of only cordova If there are any rough sketches/wireframes you have available for the app then it would be very helpful to understand what kind of UI you are looking for thanks
