I have a kitchen furniture business .We supply and install the furniture Potential customers contact us in a number of ways but we can manually add them to the database
At first I want a lead database I would like emails taken and sent to the people to be visible to other people in the organisation and also the pdf files attached to those emails
After the first consultation the customer gets a proposal which is a pdf of a drawing of what we propose to install for them and another pdf with the quotation
Normally they would get 3 or 4 revisions before they agree a design and place the order
During this process I want to be able to schedule follow up call and appointments in the showroom and assign these to different users
When this process is over I want to re categorise the lead into confirmed job or dead lead etc
That is really all I need for now but when that is set up I want to be able to create a sales order in the app where we can input all the details about the lead into our database like the style of units they want, the colour of the them, the type of handle etc
We need to output this info into a template which we can print off and get the customer to sign that they agree to all the specifications On this template we would need the facility to add notes
From the sales order I would like to be able to order goods we have for re-sale like sinks cookers etc So in effect we would have catalogues for each of our suppliers on the system together with that suppliers email address so at the click of a button the app will order a sink from the sink supplier if that sink is not in our stock and if it is a sink that we keep in stock it will automatically reorder a specified quantity of that sink once the minimum amount in stock has been reached
Once that has been done I would ideally like to generate quotes in the app We would need lots of flexibility and the quote output template would need to have areas to add text as well as areas where we can input goods from the product catalogues mentioned earlier
The goods for resale need to be split up into 3 or 4 different headings also

I have held a Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) position from an IT perspective. My first task would be to have the conversation on what is required in detail and what the customer is looking to accomplish. This would be to ensure that I don't under deliver but at the same time don't waste time doing work that is not required.
I use Office 365 so I would setup a SharePoint portal that the customer would have access to for the purpose of sharing documents, information, leaving comments or asking questions. This portal would be available to anyone the customer wanted/needed to include in this project.
