I have a small business and a Microsoft 365 Business subscription. We currently have 3 users, 10 machines, and use Exchange and OneDrive only. We also have 3 domains hosted with GoDaddy and websites are being developed for these domains. We use no other services from either Microsoft or GoDaddy. WE DO NOT NEED WEBSITE DEVELOPERS AT THE MOMENT.
I need a network administrator who can help us configure and maintain this collection (add/remove users, configure policies, machines, and troubleshoot problems). This is an ongoing project but I will pay for it through milestones. You will need to be able to configure Microsoft 365 Business and GoDaddy as per our requirements when the need arises. If new licenses are required, I will purchase them.
An important aspect of this project is for you to make recommendations on what else I need to create a robust and secure infrastructure for my small business using these subscriptions. I don't exactly know what I need all the time, so your ideas to improve things would better our business and create more work for you. I'm not technically advanced, so you will need to be able to simply and explain concepts so I can understand what it is we are doing.
For starters, we need the following:
1) Users to have sync capability for Windows 10 settings between multiple devices that they use. We already sync Microsoft Edge and OneDrive, but can't get Windows 10 settings to sync.
2) All Windows 10 updates forced via policies to be deployed automatically on all machines at some set schedule, but we don't want machines to restart automatically. User should be able to select when the restart happens.
3) Users to have no ability to deploy additional software on machines. All new deployments to be done by one administrator user.
4) Users to have the minimum ability to change the configuration of the machines. All configurations to be done by one administrator user.
