Hello! I am giving you an offer, but there is one "but". Access database cannot be shared that way. OneDrive (and Dropbox) works the way by creating a COPY of the file on a local computer using a file in a cloud. Access database can be shared only if there is a single backend database shared by the users and that is the case when the file is shared in the local network. Otherwise, if using OneDrive there will be severe file corruption and it will not work. There are other ways to share a database and use Access as an interface. You have to choose another way , for example Ms Access as front end and SQL Server as back end . I'm Ms Access/VB/SQL/Excel programmer since 1997. What i offer: - custom developed database for your purpose only - written word doc for what is done inside the database why is it like that and etc - written user manual - custom designed forms with buttons - custom designed reports (added logos and everything that is needed). From your project description i have came to a conclusion that the first thing you need is user login system to divide the admin from average user. The admin/supervisor will have more access inside the database, and the users will be limited only in accessing inside their operating circle. Hi, whilst you've suggested MS Access as the go-to solution for this I would like to suggest an alternative. I'm perfectly capable of building the Access database you need, but I suspect a web-based database would be more suitable. I'm guessing though as I don't yet know very much about your business. Essentially a web based database is essentially a website that would be split into a few key parts: - A user login/registration/management section where you can control who is able to perform each function. - A MySQL database that stores the data and an api that controls the business logic. - An "employee" section where they can fill in time and expenses against jobs. - A "manager" section where you can create jobs and generate invoices and reports. There would be a monthly but small hosting fee, but in return it could potentially generate invoices etc automatically for you.
