The capacity of production with the normal shifts is of 1400 monthly mattresses, if it schedules extra hours it can produce 200 additional units, this generates an additional cost of $ 12,000 / unit and if it is not sold in the month it is manufactured there is a storage cost of $ 7,000 / unit. The company manages an initial inventory in zeros and tries at the end of the month not to leave units for the next period.
