I am an international entrepreneur and software developer based in San Francisco who previously founded TouristEye and sold it to Lonely Planet after growing it to more than 1 million users. At Microverse, we believe that talent is evenly distributed, but opportunities are not. And our mission is to fix that by training and connecting 1 million people with remote jobs by 2030. We are starting with a full-time online program to train remote software developers (Ruby on Rails + React) in an industry with more than 1 million unfilled jobs. We don't charge anything until the student gets a job. After that, they pay a percentage of their salary. At Microverse, students from all around the world work in small distributed teams learning together while doing remote pair programming and holding each other accountable. As part of the program, we ask our students to work on freelance projects to get some real-world experience before they start looking for full-time jobs. And here is where we need some help... We need someone who can help us create an Agency on Upwork and to help us source projects for our students. We don't want them to waste time biding for projects and negotiating with clients.
