Dear Sir, I have more than 8 yrs of experience working on Java and Swing technologies. I have also done a large scale Java FX UI to display various events/stats that are created by different network devices connected to a centralized server. All the UI that connect to the server have a two way communication, where in the UI is launched by the centralized server but once launched, this behaves as a listener to gather the data that can be plotted in real time for the users. It has the advantage of gather the data through SNMP or UDP. Also, once launched, we used it to push notification and escalation to the UI as the events occured in the back end.
