We have a Java software project that builds and exports collections of flow diagram models and associated documents. We'd like to build a SCORM-compliant exporter for it and require an analyst with experience with XML to do a feasability study for us.
Currently, our model structure looks somewhat like this:
Package consists of 1..n "Models"
* Model 1
* * Name
* Image/Icon
* Node List (1..n Nodes)
* * Node
* * Name
* Image (Optional)
* Movie File (Optional)
* Movie Image (Optional)
<!-- -->
* Resources (a collection of 0..n documents)
* * Resource
* * Name
* Document (File)
* children (0..n other Nodes)
* .
* .
* .
* Model N
The analyst will need to study the SCORM spec, [login to view URL] and tell us
a) how our model can be mapped exported in a SCORM compliant manner
b) provide examples of any XML documents that will need to be generated and SCORM-compliant XML schema we can use with our model
c) provide exampels of file/directory/package structures required of a SCORM module
This initial stage requires no coding, other than the XML examples.
Please visit: <[login to view URL]>
to learn more about the structure of the models.
Successful completion of this project may likely be followed by another project providing an implementation of the exporter.
## Deliverables
The analyst will need to study the SCORM spec, [login to view URL] and tell us a) how our model can be mapped exported in a SCORM compliant manner b) provide examples of any XML documents that will need to be generated and SCORM-compliant XML schema we can use with our model c) provide exampels of file/directory/package structures required of a SCORM module
## Platform
Cross-platform Java.
