Google positioning of web site - SEO

Our company commenced its activity in 2007 and since its introduction in Internet we commenced to have services requested via web site mail. Communications and business were growing satisfactorily but suddenly aprox. 2010 or so, Google introduced the location feature showing local companies at the search. As we are an international company we need a special dealing not offered simply by google. Our business works as follows... a potential client located at "Singapore" search a service (e.i) "pre-purchase inspection" at a remote location (e.i) "Rotterdam". As an example we can say that a ship management company located at Singapore is searching in google a service for one of their vessels which arrives (e.i) Rotterdam and enter in google "ship Pre-purchase survey Rotterdam". Findings actually show local business with the word "Rotterdam" in their web site so my company is at a very bad position. This is what we need to enhance. Your goal will be to place my company at first page, not only for Rotterdam but for all main ports (List would be given).
