You will be required to create full illustrations and/or illustrative elements for enchanting and quirky children’s stories.
Examples of the quality and the level of detail that we are looking for can be found in the Wonder Tales section at landoftales<dot>com or within our free mobile apps (search on the AppStore or the Google Play Store for “Land of Tales” by Zoomikon Press).
We always maintain a long queue of forthcoming titles, and we are ready to commission large volumes on an ongoing basis.
We would be ready to commission a paid test requiring shortlisted applicants to create a sample of an illustrated Wonder Tale - you will receive a specification of the assignment after a review of your portfolio. All drawings should be exported in layers.
Core Expectations:
Create digital illustrations for children's books in line with the provided idea boards and style guidelines.
Prepare concept art for the books such as: human, animal and fantasy characters, environment, buildings & architecture, and more.
Adapt to brand style, tone, and standards.
Be continually aware of the latest trends in children’s illustration.
