Hi, As per your description, I would like to explain what would be my work flow regarding this project. There are 2 ways to make chat application in mobile platform: 1. through socket programming 2. Via Database As per your requirement I would suggest you to go with socket programming. Since, there would be only client socket and server socket. The client will communicate with each other via server created port number. Thus, it would be more faster than the DB. Also the DB solution may not be in real time. App will be developed on client side and PHP will be used for server side code. The VOIP services will be include so that users may chat via video calls. Secondly as per your requirement I have our mobile application portfolio made in a doc. Which I am unable to upload until you respond to my PM as this is a flaw in freelancer.com. I would not prefer phone gap since phone gap does not provide validations of PHP for android and iOS simultaneously. I would prefer native apps. We shall discuss more in details while our discussion.
