Contract Type: 12- 18 Months Marc Ellis Consulting is looking for Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote) for a company in UAE, City of Dubai. It will give you the chance to gain experience with leading organizations as well as flexible work hours that will fit in with your lifestyle. The client is looking to expand their team with talented remote engineers. You will design, implement and maintain web solutions for a large-scale e-commerce platform owned by one of the biggest fashion retailers in the GCC region. You will build web projects that focus on delivering the best customer experience. You will design and optimize web applications for performance at scale. You should be comfortable working with both state of the art projects built with React/Redux, as well as legacy projects built with jQuery. You will be working along with the Engineering team in Dubai in an agile environment. You are expected to write high-quality code following best practices with documentation & tests. Experience • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS & JS (ES6+) • Expert knowledge of React, Redux and modern JS ecosystem • 2+ years of remote working experience • Experience with web performance profiling and performance optimization at scale • Strong problem solving and system design skills • Strong English communication and collaboration skills • Timezone should be between UTC+2 & UTC+6 • Working days are Sunday to Thursday • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field is preferred • Backend experience is a plus • E-commerce background is a plus • Experience with hybrid mobile apps using web technologies is preferred
