Floor Plans

I have floor plans that are work in progress. I am sending the ORIGINAL and MODIFIED. the original is floor plans that were given to me to make comments on. There were many areas of the floor plans that I thought were poorly done as they did NOT take into account waste of space (hallways, etc.) and unusable square footage. The second thing that the architect did not take into account is livability. they did not provide adequate space in bedrooms to put a dresser in, nor did the think about having a place in each bedroom for TV's. Lastly the place of the double sided fireplace is poorly placed. In fact, there really is not a need for a double sided fireplace in the middle of the room. It is a propane fireplace unit and it could be placed on the living room side of the floor plan and not to separate the dining room and living room. Upper cabinets are inadequate in my opinion--but since it is a vacation home, it may be okay. I am looking for someone to view the original floorplan and then the modified plan and see if it is possible to come up with something that is better. We cannot move any outside walls or window placements, other than to say that we might be able to take door and window units and reposition the doors and windows within the space that is provided.
