Hello, We are working on reimagining our websites’ store, which we have labeled as the OM Library ( OM standing for Omega Morphosis - the name of our business ). What we are currently looking for at this time is a Web Designer to assist in this process by working closely with our executive team, based in Kelowna, British Columbia and our management/programming team in Edmonton, Alberta. After we have a static version of the Library design finalized, we will need to work on the back end of the Library, to bring the Library to life. We want our website to be unique for our users but also for our staff who will be working behind the scenes. That being said, we are searching for someone that can either work with our Website Programmer or on their own to create custom back end tools and management systems which our staff have come together to imagine. As the OM Library is the heart of our website, we require an individual who is: -Ambitious -Detail-oriented -Creative, but can take direction well -Adaptive to change This individual should have experience in the following: -2+ years experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and XD -2+ years experience with HTML5,CSS3, and Javascript -Understanding of mobile-first web design, and best practices within brand guidelines -Experience in UX Design and best practices -Demonstrates an understanding of best design practices and fundamental design principles -Ability to both create new designs for web pages and to work with existing templates or design - systems for a site Attached is a mock-up done on Microsoft Powerpoint of what we would like the OM Library to look like.
