Build a Website

We want to create an Apps Serach page that serarches the App Store anfdisplays ( apps or games ) in two ways . 1-An icon matrix where the icon border color defines if the game is free or paid and clicking on the icon the user is redirected to the App Store web page or on the iTunes App Store launching the itunes Application . ( add to url string &ls=1). The links to the App Store must have the possibility to be transformed in Affiliate links. 2-Instead of a matrix , the apps/games are showed on rows , with some information , like Icon (with link) , Game Tiltle , Price , Reviews , Category. In a second moment the icon link will be to a custom web page similar to an App Store (Web) Description page. (not mandatory now) The site must show a google like search , and results (icon matrix or rows ) must be showed under the search box. With Buttons PREV and NEXT. The store search request is done via a proprietary php file that queries an engine in Apple and that gets a JSON reply. At this moment our php script does not return the JSON records directly to the caller ( ajax call ) but returns the html to display in the callers page ( the search page ) , all css is on the callers page side. This is bad since the interface creation is splitted by both sides , while a good thing would be separate the interface grafical display (caller page) and data in json (php page ) What we would like to do is to return directly JSON records to the caller page in order to give the caller page the task to manage the graphical interface. Notice that we retreive also data that is not listed in the json returned by Apple , we do this by using a part of info in the the json field like for example a link to an image , in which we substitute a part in order to download certain formats , that are present on Apple's servers but not returned in json records. Parameters passed to this php are custom (we can share the list or we can define new ones) and are used to create the real query string that has to be sent to query Apple. Now our basic search is focused on the US Store and iPad (Universal) Games. We have also the possibility to query all App Store Countries and Platoforms or do specific seraches based on the Publisher name ecc .. The method is the same , caller page and php but the parameters that we send are not fixed to US , Games ,IPad , but can change based on an web interface with selectors (combo boxes). The adavanced search must be available on prior registration. Final : the page must have AdSense Ads banners on the sides and top. It must have also the space for proprietary banners and the possibility to show in the same spaces adds form affiliate Ad Spaces resellers . The reason we chose JQuery is flexibility on the interface . Next time we wanto to change the results display we want to do it in a very fast and flexible way. But if you think there is a more efficient framework like wordpress please suggest it . The evolution of the site would be a page with a blog on Mobile Apps Technology. The possibility to drag app icons to a saving zone on the interface (has to register) Caching Apps/Games assets for Next Page. This is a working idea of what we use internally to searches basd on icons . We are a games publisher.
