Large [login to view URL] Promo Ad Designs for Google Chrome Store
Using our existing (vector) logo we need a talented designer to create an eye catching static (non-animated) promotional ad in 3 sizes:
Small: 440x280 pixels
Large: 920x680 pixels
Marquee: 1400x560 pixels
The final format for the Ad will be PNG, however we will need the ads in PSD format also in case we need to modify them in the future.
In the Large and Marquee ads, we need the designer to clearly define what large [login to view URL] can do. We want the design to look fresh, eye catching and to describe our service offering in the clearest terms possible (with as little text as possible).
Here is a brief description of Large [login to view URL]’s features:
Large [login to view URL] is a secure file transfer and sharing service that does not require any login information. You can transfer files as large as 2 gigabytes in size and can store up to 15 gigabytes of data for up to 180 days for free. Send high resolution photos and videos without having to worry about the typical 10 mega-byte email attachment limits. Large Document stores your files online in web accessible direct links. We will never pester you with ads. The file links can be shared before the upload process has completed, so there is no need to wait around (but you will need to keep your transfer window open until it completes). When a user tries to download a link that is still being uploaded they see a message stating the estimated time remaining for the file transfer. You can also share your folder, remove files, publish directly to Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, LinkedIn or Email Directly with your email client.
Here are some guidelines from Google.
Promotional images are your chance to capture users' attention and entice them to learn more. Don't just use a screenshot; your images should primarily communicate the brand. Here are some rules of thumb for designing your images:
Avoid text.
Make sure your image works even when shrunk to half size.
Assume the image will be on a light gray background.
Use saturated colors if possible; they tend to work well.
Avoid using a lot of white and light gray.
Fill the entire region.
Make sure the edges are well defined.
