We need a very low profile mp3 player.
The idea is is this:
While Music Playing:
Speaker Icon Visible
Animated Waves coming from the speaker are visible
The waves should smooth fading from White to Back every .3 seconds (roughly)
so they create a smooth animation of waves yet are obvious enough that people will notice them.
A PAUSE button imposed over a portion of the speaker which when pressed, will PAUSE the
music -- not stop it.
A VOLUME SLIDER beneath the speaker where the user can adjust the volume level from 0 - 100
While Music Paused:
Speaker Icon Visible
Animated Waves are stopped on either Black or White depending upon configuration file variable
A START button imposed over a portion of the speaker which when pressed,
will START the music from where left off.
NO VOLUME SLIDER visible
A small php config file indicating:
$default_wave_color="black" or "white" (allows it to be visible on dark or light colored website backgrounds)
$autostart="true" or "false"
$volumeLevel=(0 to 100)
/* each website will have a background image behind this player. It will be a small circular or square image
designed to create added contrast behind the player. This must be dynamically added and not
embedded in the player. We have supplied an example [login to view URL] for you to use.
$bg_img='[login to view URL]';
// because we must be able to perfectly position the bg_img behind the player
$bg_img_xadj=(integer)
$bg_img_yadj=(integer)
Dimensions should be exactly
55 wide x 48 px high
Colors / Images
We are supplying a Photoshop [login to view URL] file which contains the images we would like to use.
They are supplied in layers ie; Play / Pause layers.
The 'waves' do not have to be used from the images. They can be drawn in Flash if you wish. However,
the Speaker, Stop, Play and Volume images should be used from the supplied psd file.
They have been created so that they show contrast on both dark and light backgrounds.
Each has either dark or light colored hues with the opposite dark or light colored border
for this purpose.
Compatibility:
If created in Flash, should be saved as a as2 capable file format or older to insure larger player compatibility
The project will require you supply us with a [login to view URL] with variables supplied, and if Flash, the [login to view URL] and of course the [login to view URL] file. We will include a full length mp3 file for testing. Though any mp3 file should be able to play.
The purpose of this widget is to play background music when a website loads. We want the viewer to be able to stop the music if they do not want to listen to it. It will be used on many of our websites
