Hi All, Let me give you short rundown of the project. We have an existing excel VBA Program for room hotel booking. The program is very simple, as it only managed 4 rooms (in this case cabins). And it does the scheduling and booking quite well. We want to upgrade the existing excel file to be able to perform the following tasks:
1. Create authority level on who can edit and who can view the file, makes it more secure and less prone to input error.
2. Allow for easier multiple cabins booking, as of right now if the customer wants to book all four cabins, we need to individually input the booking.
3. Create a simple POS System for the cabins restaurant, this consist of simple food and beverages. Make it easy for us to add or discard items in the menu as it frequently change.
4. Make an automatic consolidated financial report based on the income and expenses from our cabins, this means that you need to add a system so that we can input expenses such as salary, maintenance, transportation, etc. Makes the expenses category user friendly for us for add new type of expenses and do the balance sheet (compared our expense with the cash that we have)
5. Create a simple Inventory, make it easy to us add or replace the items. All the inventory of the cabins could added in this menu
6. Menu invoice to make and recap our invoice for bookings and the resto.
Finally, we need the excel file to be able to be uploaded to microsoft OneDrive. As it makes us easier to access or view file from cloud.
Please make the interface user friendly so that our staff can easily adapt for new program.
