Hi Hiring Manager, I believe that the perfect candidate for the position is a person who is knowledgeable in advance excel. A person is considered to be an advanced excel expert when a complex excel formula are joined together to automate the excel file. I myself had been a part of a Shared Service Industry in Makati City Philippines where I was trained to be an advanced excel expert. And now while working in a State University, one of my major accomplishments, as I must say, is the automation of our General Ledger report. To give a little background, this process has been manually posted by a staff years before I joined the agency. After carefully studying the required report, I was able to come up with an automated one by combining different excel formula such as data validation, index, match, and vlookup. Doing so, the account name automatically changes as well as the balance of this account in the dropdown list. Because of this report, I was commended by our resident auditor.
