Engineering Sales & Marketing (generous commissions) (commission only)

We suggest a commitment of ~10/hours per week. We are a San Francisco (California) based engineering product development provider. We develop engineering products on a per-project basis for other companies located near San Francisco. We also have 2 very technical products. We are looking for a salesperson to reach out to clients offering either our development services, or our products. In our field it is very difficult to get a client, but each client we get pays a lot of money, therefore we offer large commissions. This is a HAND-PICKED lead generation job. We want you to reach only a few potential customers per week. We do not want you to spam lots of people, only customers with high chances of closing deals. You will have to spend a lot of time thinking which customers are worth reaching out to. Most of the work will be web-based. Some e-mail needed. Maybe phone calls as well (unclear). We will give you a list of methods you can use to find and reach out to potential clients. You will be free to use those methods or suggest your own. Some methods are semi-passive (social media posts) and some are proactive (find potential clients, reach out directly to managers). We estimate the following MINIMUMS (therefore you will probably make more than this): -Your hourly rate (which we will not pay. Only for reference) is targeted to $5/h -You will reach out to 2 potential clients every hour.. -You will work 10 hours per week. -You will reach out to 20 clients per week, 80 per month. -Out of 80 clients, 10 will show interest every month. -Out of 10 clients showing interest, we will close 1 deal a month. -Commission per client will be at least $500 (that actually gives you $12.5/h). If you manage to reach more clients, spend more time, and get more clients, you’ll make more. This is not paid “per hour”. This is COMMISSION ONLY. Commissions will be based on closed sales (not leads). Please keep in mind that average time from first contact until deal closing is 2-3 months. Since you will be representing the company when contacting clients, we must oversee every single interaction you have with clients (at least at the beginning) in order to ensure we give a good image of the company.
