- We require 20 mechanical reasoning questions thought up, designed and drawn.
Description:
These questions will be used in a test to gauge a person's ability to think in mechanical scenarios. The image will depict a scenario. Text will accompany the image which will ask a question.

Question Format
- Each question (item) must contain an image and a few lines of text.
- Each image should depict a mechanical/practical situation or scenario that relates to the following topics:
Cogs, levers, pulleys, forces, fluids; liquids and gases, temperature, movement, gravity, vehicles, tools,
- The text will ask the question and provide the answer options.
- The question should be no longer than 20 words.
- The answer options could be images themselves or short lines of text (see examples)
- Please provide five possible answer options, labelled A - E, one of which is the correct answer, the rest should be incorrect. Indicate the correct answer option to the question and image in bold font.
Image Specifications
- Image dimensions must be 560px wide by 400px tall.
- Original vector format files required as well as the 560 (w) x 400 (h) pixel output image
- Any vector-based graphics software will be accepted; Adobe Illustrator preferred).
- All text and detail should be clearly readable at 560 (w) x 400 (h) pixels.
- A professional 'look' and 'feel' for all images produced.
Ideas for the visual style: Instructional vector graphics. Professional look and feel.
Avoid questions which require excessive numerical calculations to answer.
Preferred colour scheme: Black and white / Greyscale.

Extra notes: Question Difficulty
- Roughly 30% of items written should be considered “Difficult”
- Roughly 20% of items written should be considered “Easy”
- Roughly 50% of items written should be considered of “Moderate Difficulty”
- Please write questions that require no greater than GCSE level English, Maths and Science.
- There is potential for follow-on work after this project is successfully complete. We require 80 images and accompanying questions in total.
You are allowed to use stock vectors, which are licensed for commerical use.
