I will need more details than you currently have given. This should be a simple straight forward small PLC task. Possibly using a PLC with an integrated display like a Unitronics. Either way I need more information so I can design the system. Do you have a temperature probe already or do you need one selected? What is the temperature range? What controls the temperature? You say there is steam and a solenoid valve - is the valve adjustable or does it simply open and close? What voltage does the solenoid valve use? What else about the system can you tell me?
